Day of Action at Florissant Valley Community College

"Got Tuition?" partnered today with MNEA Organizing Manager Steve McLuckie, FVCC's Mark Taylor and Linda Hamberg, and others at Florissant Valley Community College in St. Louis, Missouri, in a "Day of Action." Seventy-five students and instructors signed the "Got Tuition?" petition asking federal and state elected leaders to make college education more affordable for more students, and 100 of them put on "Got Tuition?" t-shirts to raise awareness of college affordability as a national issue in 2008.

"Got Tuition?" is conducting a series of "Day of Action" activities at area colleges and universities leading up to the Vice Presidential Debate at Washington University on October 2. For more information, go to www.gottuition.org.
